protecting the pfd Hammond 50-50 plan

So take a look, every year we have an enacted budget that is changed after the legislative sessions. A 3% reduction in enacted does not mean that is what we spent. Just go and look at Fiscal year end with supplements and see what is going on. I have hyper linked the state websites showing the categories of spending as line items. Though the line items change between the documents the categories stay somewhat consistent.  Let me know what you think of all the added spending after the enacted budget is presented. THE BUDGET SUPPLEMENTS CAUSED AN OVERALL INCREASE DESPITE THE ENACTED LEGISLATION IT WENT UP..

Lets Wright Alaska's Rights -
We need to protect the Dividend (in a land trust if necessary) but we must maintain PFD dividend formula as established by legislation and its historic value. We cannot allow a legislative body by changing the formula without a vote of the people.  If they use the reserves as intended it is important to keep the government spending in check with essential services for a maximum benefit for the people of Alaska.

The PFD dividend formula is a symbol of our fight for our shared PFD mineral rights set by statute at Hammond's 50/50 plan. Providing 50 percent of the minerals removed and leased by the state as a shared Alaskan values since statehood.  The state has retained the sub-surface rights of our lands and we hold in common the interest in and development of our lands.

Our invested funds now exceeds 67 Billion dollars in earnings and in the corpus  the fund remains with two reserve accounts, one is being drained while the reserve account remains at over 15 billion dollars in earnings, 5.6 Billion, in earnings received but not paid in dividends based on making a percent of market POMV rate of 5% when the fund during this same period has earned 10% based on the current formula as earned over a five year average..

The earnings reserve may be accessed for government essential services ONLY. This is why I remain an advocate of 50% to %50 percent or no deal...When the state has said the earnings would not last, they were wrong and still are wrong, the, legislature is the one who is dipping into the PFD to fund the IHS and Medicaid for native care to insure that their doctors get paid before we get our dividends. 1/2 of the account’s earnings would be in paid out to qualified Alaska residents .... The second 1/2 of the earnings to be used for essential government services...

Wright for Alaska is for reduced government spending and no over-reach or excess spending of our PFD shared dividend which is set aside as the peoples fund based on our mineral rights invested as corporate earnings. This fund should always grow commensurate with mineral extraction.  The formula laid out is to provide for a maximum benefit for the people of Alaska. This plan will be put forth to help restore and maintain our rights. We must keep government in check and build our private sector for the future of Alaska.

I enjoy living in Alaska, it is my home “I’m Alaskan”.

My objective is to help in defend the state constitution by empowering conservative principles to protect our individual rights and our rights held in common.  I also support a limited, responsive and responsible government with lower taxes and diversified investments.  By promoting effectively managing and securing our natural resources, we can change Alaska’s future and our country, empowering the vision and faith to move forward safely securing our resources.  Overly restrictive policy and healthcare regulations need to be amended and many repealed.

Government is ineffective at best and our ability to monitor them through our current legislature has been ineffective.  Spending is out of control with supplemental budgets not being held in check. As we are entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness: we must have the agency to do the right things in protecting individual rights ad standing up for the defenseless.  We must also protect the rights of the unborn.

By following the Alaskan constitution and effectively utilizing all our natural resources, we can strengthen Alaska and America.  I will protect the rights of all Americans and ensure fairness for our Alaskan family values. Eliminating common core is the right next step for securing better Alaskan education, by promoting choice we can build a more prosperous future for our communities and families. I will uphold laws protecting our rights and ensuring our way of life.  I will promote a strong national defense as Alaska is a strategic top of the world location.  I believe in regular audits, checks and balances for all government processes. By promoting a lean and stable government and keeping our promises to our senior citizens and veterans.  As a veteran I will work to ensure timely and responsive programs securing individual rights for the future.
